For 2010, I've gone back to full-time study learning 3D animation and effects at Enmore TAFE! Not quite a career change but I hope it leads to more creative opportunities in the future. I resigned from The Project Group early January which was quite difficult since it is hard to leave a job you like and that gave me so much responsibility for someone so inexperienced. But like the title, I think in this industry you go forwards by going sideways sometime.

But studying 3D is probably going to be the hardest thing I have accomplished (the classes move quite quickly too) so I hope I'll find my feet in Maya soon and do well by the years end. And back to working on weekends on a student wage sucks too.
